Yeah, it's pretty sad. The ones around here also have a really limited selection of trees. Lots of common flowers and a bunch of things that are really more indoor plants than anything else, but not much in the way of trees and the like. All they really have are the more common trees (Bradford...pears...urgggggh).

I really hope you'll be able to find a ginkgo. <3 Despite the fact that they're trying to take over my school, I love love looove them. They're so pretty and botanically interesting. What you might want to do is take a look around online. I poked around and found some places that look fairly decent as far as selection, and a couple of them look like they have ginkgos. I've ordered shrubs once or twice from online/catalog nurseries, and have gotten pretty good results from them. I've found that when it comes to woody perennials, they can usually be shipped through the mail okay with a low chance of them being killed.

Unless I can find a suitable local nursery alternative, I'll probably need to switch to online places to get my interesting plant fix.
