You may also want to be careful about your bees f you see them. I've come across two weird things. one was a MOTH that looked, in flight, so close to a bumblebee that I thought it was one until I saw it unroll its proboscis. The other was a small Japanese-beetle sized beetle that looked JUST like a honey bee until its wing covers folded up. That one was EATING the flowers on my thistles, as opposed to pollinating them.

I had no idea we had that many bee-mimics around here.
