Adventures in Bathtime! <3

So, after much deliberation, I finally weakened and placed a Lush order. The package came Tuesday, and tonight I got to take my first dip into Lushy-bathy-goodness.

It was also my first voluntary plunge into a bath-like situation in, oh, eleven or so years. Under normal circumstances, I'm not really one to go take baths just because I feel like it. The only baths I can recall having taken in the past several years I took because for some reason or another, showering just wouldn't work, such as when I broke my elbow and had my arm in a cast or when I got the chicken pox and needed oatmeal baths. The fact that I was motivated enough to voluntarily take a bath says a lot then, I think.

The subject of tonight's bathing experience was the Blue Skies bubble bar. It was downright uncomfortable at first, I think mainly because I had drawn the water too hot. But once it cooled off, and once the bubbles had dispersed a bit, oh my it was lovely. It turns the water blue and puts lots of white bubbles in the water that look like clouds, and it ended up giving me the distinct impression I was bathing in a piece of sky that smelled like cedars and spice. I played with the bubbles and read some of my systematics textbook, and had a lovely time and ended up coming out smelling like cedars, which is always nice. ^_^

So, yes, it was a lovely bath, and I'm looking forward to trying the other things I got ahold of this time around. On a slightly different and slightly sillier note, between the blue water and the white bubbles and the nice smell, I got the distinct impression that Blue Skies could be used in seducing Ruchiel. XD
