I turned on the radio today and was greeted with what sounded like essentially the Star Wars main theme with a generous helping of disco. What. The. Hell. Has anyone else heard of this?
*giggles* The idea of a disco Imperial March conjures up the image to me of Darth Vader dancing Saturday Night Fever-style on the bridge of his Super Star Destroyer. XDD
From a little research (you make me want to hear it), apparently it was created by a person called Domenico Monardo--interesting website with music clips here (http://www.disco-disco.com/tributes/meco.shtml).
Oh wow, I didn't realize there was more than just the theme itself (and the album title "Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk" is incredibly amusing to me for some reason). I kinda wish I could hear the sound clips, but I don't believe I have realplayer installed on my computer. Hm! I'll have to go hunting.
