"Oh, it's a SCARY tree! I'm afwaid!"

After having begun the monstrous task of cleaning my room a bit and having stopped for today, I decided to go for a walk. Supposedly, the big storm we had yesterday cooled things off a bit, so I figured the temperature wouldn't be so bad.

So there I was, happily walking along. It was a little warmer than I wanted, but it was still okay. I had Myst music playing, the sky was nice and blue, and I was brainstorming for a Meg and Nidhi scribbling. That was, until I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and looked up.

I don't know why, but my brain decided that the thing blocking the sidewalk MUST be some sort of evil twelve-horned Ru-eating thing, because I jumped back and got a lovely little adrenaline surge and everything. Finally, the more reasonable part of my mind took over and said "No, it's a tree. It's a horizontal tree, most likely blown over from the storm yesterday, but it's a tree."

BOY do I feel silly.
