Music meme

Dear gods I am such a sheep. Not to mention I can't concentrate due to the copious amounts of drilling above me, and turning up the volume on my music does not help, so I will do this instead.

I am also a complete goob, because I can't figure out how to get my player on random, so I'm going to have to just wing it though picking and choosing. There's not a ton of songs on my player, and over half of them are instrumental, with the number of sources from which musicy goodness coming from being very low, so maybe it won't be so bad. I will try not to hold back on the embarassing factor!

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 15 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

A brief observation

I find it rather amusing that on the chalkboard in this particular computer lab, someone has written the first verse to the Captain Planet theme song. That in and of itself is cute, but it would make the most sense if I was in the biology computer lab. However, I happen to be in the mechanical engineering building. I find this to be interesting. XD
