LAB REPORT EPIC FAIL

*sigh* As if the wholesale assassination of grammar by my students wasn't enough. I understand that I'm a little bit of a grammar stickler, but still. "Sense" and "Since" are two different things! It's not even the same pronunciation, like "Their" and "There"!

You know, if you're going to try and copy and paste something into your lab report and pass it off as your own, you might want to remember to take out the underlining that represents links to other places. Seriously. Randomly underlined words is mighty suspicious. So is referencing pictures that aren't there.

And if you're going to rip off something did it HAVE to be Wikipedia, after I emphasized that you shouldn't be using it as a reference for you lab report? Seriously, show some ingenuity.

*headdesk*

You're nicer then a prof I knew who actually WROTE the Wikipedia entry on his subject matter, so when they copied, he could point out that they copied HIM.

LOL.

What's your school's plagiarism policy? If you're uncomfortable confronting the students yourself, you can just take it to your superiors and let them handle it.

While sad, that's also kind of hilarious. Two of my mom's students turned in take-home essays that were almost exactly identical, with about a sentence or two changed. I mean, seriously, guys, if you're going to cheat, at least do it well! Though if you're going to do it well, you might as well do the acutal homework.

Do they know that if they're reported for cheating twice they can lose their whole semester of credit? :)

Oops, that was me. Haven't used livejournal for, er, 4 years.
