I got accused today of having a New Jersey accent.

...that's a new one.

Last time I checked, I was told I had *no* accent. Well at least in terms of American dialects anyway. Go figure.

WTF. I would ask for clarification of whether they thought you had a North Jersey or a South Jersey accent, as they are castly different.

The person didn't say. I'm not even sure what it was that I said that she seemed to think made me sound like I was from New Jersey. So I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Umm, I agree with you, since when did have any accent. Hell I have more of a Texan accent than you have ANY accent at all.
