Despite the fact that I'm almost out of college, and it could be considered 'childish' by some, I do love dyeing eggs. Seeing as tomorrow's easter and all, I went about boiling some eggs and fixing up some egg dyes and subsequently coloring them with the assistance of my brother. I documented some of the fruits of our labor. Unfortunately, the color didn't come out quite right in some, and some of them ended up blurry, but hopefully they'll still be a little interesting. <3 <3

All the eggs drying in their nice little cardboard drying thing, watched over by old art projects (not the salt shakers) and an empty can signifying my love for Coke Zero. I took close-up pictures of some of the highlights. Sadly, I think I was too close to the eggs when I did the individual ones, so the blurriness is going to go up from here.

What color is that red egg? My little bro did this one. I think it's neat, since he managed to get it *really* red, as opposed to the pink mine usually are. Here's to patience.

It's supposed to be bright yellow, honest. This one cracked during the boiling process, with the result being that the cracks ended up not dyeing very well, resulting in a sort of lightning-type look, which was kinda cool. Go Egg Lightning!

The dying kit came with three extra tablets, one light blue, one light green, and one pink. The former ones I felt would be good for making a Ruchiel-egg and an Aniel-egg. Aww, mommy and daughter eggs. Sadly, we didn't have enough cups for the pink dye, so I couldn't make a Miniel-egg. Maybe next year. <3 <3
