ruIn case anyone is curious, the answers to the unanswered summaries from the fandom meme!
6.) Only Oedipus's family is more dysfunctional. - Myst SERIOUSLY. Atrus's family is messed up. All he needs to do is inflict a little stabbity death on his eyes, and the two would be on par.
7.) One man puns his way through easter eggs, mythology references, talking skulls, and wacky gnomes in search of high adventure (while wondering if it ever, ever rains). - Quest for Glory It's amazing there's any vegetation in Gloriana as, well, there's no precipitation. Yay for old school Sierra adventure games! And the oodles of puns only made it better.
8.) Never has the corner of a painting been more iconic. - Monty Python After posting, I realized that this one might be a little too obscure--the classic foot that seems to be synonymous with the series was taken from the lower left corner of a painting, the title of which I just looked up: "Venus, Cupid, Folly, and Time"
9.) Planks, snares, and boats are all highly advanced technology, and can be used to your advantage. - Watership Down Because to a rabbit, a boat is like a megalomaniacal SUPERWEAPON.
10.) Clunky dialogue, monsters with zippers in the back, plot holes you could drive a train through--it's all in a day's work. - MST3K The only thing not included was cheesy special effects. XD
