Nov. 25th, 2005 01:05 amPost 5 Weird and Random Facts about yourself, then at the end list the names of 5 people who are next in line to do this.
1.) With very few exceptions (most parasites, and flies, namely), I can find something cute about just about any animal. Cockroaches? The way their head is hidden underneath is kinda cute. Snakes? They're pretty and they have cute little tongues. Platyheminthes? Who could resist those cute little eyspots? Tardigrades? The cutest things ever to come out of the microscopic world. Love them to pieces. <3 <3 <3 <3
2.) Ever since the fifth grade, the way I wear my hair on a normal basis is in a braid. It sometimes comes down for special occasions, but otherwise, my hair will, without fail, end up in a braid for the day. I guess it's the most convenient way of keeping it bound back, unsnarled, and out of my face. And as some will attest, it makes a useful weapon. XD
3.) In my opinion, super balls are an endless source of fun. I have a collection of them that I've gathered from vending machines. Two permanently live in my backpack to be brought out at a moment's notice.
4.) I have a scar on the side of my leg that I accquired in an interesting way. A couple of years ago, my family and I went to Disney, and for a change of pace while there, went to Universal for a couple of days. People who've been there probably remember that scattered about the park they have vehicles on display that have been used in the movies. One of these is the Ford POS from Men in Black. I think that's what it's called. I'm going off of what I remember from the movie. In typical touristy fashion, my parents had my brother and I stand beside it for a picture. In the process of getting in position, I managed to catch my leg on the metal license plate holder, and put a small gash there. If you look at the picture, you'll notice that I'm holding my leg a bit funny because I'm trying to grin while going "OW. THE PAIN." Anyway, this whole incident resulted in me having a small scar, courtesy of a somewhat famous car. Hey, that rhymed!
5.) To me, motzarella cheese with honey is a fantastic food combination.
