May. 6th, 2007 09:04 pmWelp. I've packed my bags, watered the hoardes, and for all intents and purposes, am ready to head off to parts unknown. I'm going to be at a research station down near the coast all week helping to set up some studies.
Honestly, I'm not looking forward to it. Not only is it going to be four days of hard labor, but I'm realizing that I'm a terrible home body, and the idea of being away from home is, well, it's like my body's going and my heart's being left behind. I know, it could be a whole lot worse. I could be leaving for a year. Which is why I'm kinda irritated at myself for feeling the way I do, but still. Maybe it'll go quickly.
Hopefully, we'll be back Thursday night, assuming the weather cooperates (weather, please please please cooperate). Don't have any wild parties while I'm gone!
