Yes, pictures! Of a couple various things!

First, pumpkins!



Lo, my first home-grown pumpkin! Sadly, it isn't very big, but hey, I'm just happy I got something out of my vines. It's a start. And besides, it's cute!



Especially when you give it a big happy baby grin! It wasn't big enough for me to carve it using stencils, so I did something freeform. I don't know if maybe because it was a smaller, more tender pumpking, or maybe because it was fresher, but it was really easy to carve. I'm used to having to struggle with the knife in order to get the pumpkin carved, but it sliced through with hardly any problems. And I got a cute ickle jack o' lantern out of the deal!



And finally, I finished my Dalek wrist warmers! I call them such due to the fact that the bobbles make them look vaguely like a Dalek's skirt. They exterminate the cold!

They were also an experiment to see if I could 1.) Make bobbles for the knitted Dalek army I'm planning. 2.) Knit with baby alpaca, given my apparent wool allergy. Luckily, it worked on all accounts. <3 And I have some nice wrist warmers too! Not quite sure why one ended up bigger than the other, though. Ah well.
