Avocadocumentary: Weeks 60/61--Catchup

ruOkay, since the compy is having issues with reading the card, we'll just do the first two weeks of catchup first.
First we have Avobaby, who is looking chipper than ever. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to say about Avobaby this time around, as it hasn't done a ton of growing at this point. However, I have noticed recently that Avobaby's stem seems to be a bit thicker. I kinda wonder if avocados have rings like other trees. It would make sense, being that it's a tree and all. Of course, I'm not going to go whacking into Avobaby to find out, but it's still an interesting thought. Avobaby with tree rings! How mature it's gotten. <3
And now we move over to Hal, who still hasn't done very much in the growth department. The leaves are still clinging on. The question becomes--will Hal ever actually get on with putting out those buds, or will he forever attempt to use those two leaves to do his photosynthesizing? And the other question, will those leaves be able to tide him over until his buds actually get going? Hmm...
And now, we move to our resident dictator-in-training. It looks like Gigi has finally overtaken Hal in the growth department. Hal, you need to get moving! Gigi could possibly enslave you if you don't get growing! At the very least, she might push you around, with those big huge leaves of hers! It's interesting how differently shaped the leaves are. They appear to be much rounder and a brighter green than those of Hal or Avobaby. Maybe they're like, muscular leaves.
The axillary buds also seem to be doing well. Exceptionally well, in fact. Actually, they kinda look like dangerous tentacles of doom to me. Look at how they're whipping around!
Sog seems to have not been doing much, in the meantime. I'm starting to worry if Sog will ever get bigger than he is right now, considering how much insane growing Gigi is doing in comparison. Sog, you'll be a disappointment to your mum if you don't get growing! How do you ever expect to inherit the empire otherwise? We'll be watching your development with great interest!

and avobaby is so tall. baby cado is about 1/2 as tall...but his leaves are all tipped with brown. it makes me sad. avo-half is doing good. he's really skinny, tho, but not following the sun like he used to. he looks like a little umbrella. i'm thinking i need to give him a bit of miracle-gro to help him a bit. i also think avobaby needs a new, bigger pot. :\
