At some point, every year during pollen season, I have this thought, in part because the place where I live turns downright YELLOW with the stuff. I'm not exaggerating. There are some parts on campus where if people don't walk on it on a regular basis, it's bright yellow from pollen. I probably mentioned it last year, but I'm going to go ahead and reiterate it, for the heck of it:

Have you ever thought about the fact that, during pollen season, we're basically all walking, working, and breathing in one big, fat, giant, TREE ORGY?

Think on that the next time you go outside! XDDD

THE FRUITLESS MULBERRY CAME ALL OVER MY CAR. It's no longer blue, it's GREEN from so much pollen on it.

I used to live in Marin County in northern California, near the Nicasio Redwood grove. I could look off the balcony of my apartment and see clouds of pollen drifting up from the redwoods in the spring...

That doesn't bother me. What bothers em is what will happen when that tree and my car manage to successfully breed.

THIS IS WHY I LIVE IN THE DESERT.

I fear pollen. And snow.

That would be interesting to see. Gives new meaning to the term, "hybrid vehicle".

But snow is nice! Particularly when you have paranoid people in charge, so that when it does snow, they get all panicky and close things down.

Sadly, I have yet to see the school closed on account of pollen, though.

*dies laughing* That is quite possibly the best description of the effects of pollen I've heard in a long time. XD

It's INSANE how much they put out. When it gets really bad, you can drive on the highway, and off in the distance, it looks like a yellow fog. BUT IT'S NOT FOG.
