So massively tired. Not getting enough sleep. Still waiting for permits to come in. Grass is converting to its autumnal form, which is taxonmically useless to me. Yes, I know it's June. "Autumnal" is a misnomer. I've just only learned this recently. Not even sure if I'll be able to get stuff when I head south. Was planning on doing the southern trip this week, but that is rapidly breaking apart, due to poor timing and permits taking forever to come through. At this rate, I'll be lucky if I can get GA before I have to head to DC, as it's looking like FL is a bust. And even then I dunno if I'll get stuff, as none of THOSE permits have come through either. So so tired of calling people I don't know and having to work up the courage to call people I don't know and sending emails to everyone and their brother and passing out my proposal like I'm running for city council. Everyone I need to talk to is either on vacation or in the field. Feeling massively stupid and helpless. At my wit's end.

XDDDD YOU KNOW. I was thinking about calling my traveling entries, "FOR SCIENCE!" in a homage to Stinky Meat, but that might be a better title. XD
