Okay, now that I am calmed down,

Oh gods. That was so good and so horrible at the same time. Donna. DONNA. Oh poor Donna. Sweet Donna. Wonderfully awesome Donna. The universe knows what you did, but you never will. That's the unkindest cut of all. I've mentioned how much I adore her, and it HURTS to know that she won't be traveling with the Doctor anymore. I was really rooting that she'd be around for a second season, either as herself or as a sort of intelligent Romana-type, because she is just that incredible. I really think she's become my favorite companion thus far, and it really tears at me that everything she's done is erased from her mind. She's back to the way she was, centered on her own little world, like the Doctor never crossed her path. *sighs* Oh Donna, we love you, even if you don't know that. <3

But, to talk about the rest of the episode, wow, whatta rush. Jack was on FIRE (both metaphorically and literally), and snappy and flirty as always (Donna muscling her way in to hug him was just hilarious XD). Jack so totally rocks in my book. XD And MICKEY. I literally screamed when Mickey popped up, because it's MICKEY. He's grown so much from the wigged out guy that was clinging to Rose's middle that first episode, hefting a BAG (big ass gun) and kicking Dalek butt. It's awesome to see that he'll be hanging around. Maybe he'll pop up at Torchwood? <3

Unfortunately, I think Rose never really got up to speed. In the end, it feels like she was there more because they wanted to get everyone into the episode (it was kinda awesome to see the Tardis fully manned, though. I would love to see what a Time Lord-manned Tardis is like.). She did an awful lot of standing around. It was, however, nice to have some closure to Rose's storyline, and I think she'll be happy with Doctor v.2.0, even if it was quite obvious she didn't know what she wanted at the end. She's getting a chance to start over with him, even at square one to a certain extent, if he came into being in a similar manner to the Ninth Doctor. And on a slightly snarkier note, I am now able to fully appreciate this picture. XDDD

I did feel rather satisfied to see that my breeding theory did in fact have some application in the final episode. <3 I love looking for common threads in the series. I'd love to see another one on the level of Bad Wolf, just because it was such fun to go looking for where it would crop up. XD

And watching Daleks spin and flail about? Awesome and hilarious. It's amazing how creatures so menacing can be so hilarious at the same time. XD

Either way, the episode was downright EPIC. Not quite at the same level of overload insanity as the last episode, but it was still pretty full. I'm not entirely upset Russell T. Davies is stepping down. It seems like his stories have been getting a little...oh, what's the word...unpolished. Not that they're bad, per se, far from it. They just don't feel as tight as some of the other episodes. There are a couple of leaps that made me go "Huh?". I'm looking forward to seeing what Stephen Moffat does as head writer. I mean, the man wrote "Blink", for crying out loud--how can you go wrong? XD

DONNA. ;________;

I found Donna's fate to be seriously upsetting. At least when Rose became trapped in the other dimension, you knew she at least had all the good memories of the things she'd been through with the Doctor. It kind of goes back to those parallel worlds that she kept finding herself in, where she had to start all over as though she had never met the Doctor, except that this time it's for good, and there's no hope of even finding that cute stuttering guy of hers. I hope, at the very least, her mother starts treating her half-decently.

MICKEY, I squealed when he appeared too. Him being back is PERFECT for the Torchwood team, because they currently have openings for a medic and a techie, and I wasn't sure I liked the idea of a whole new character stepping in alongside Martha. It'll be really interesting to see how they change the dynamics of the show.

Everybody in the Tardis at once was my favorite part of the episode. It was like, for one very brief moment, everything was just perfect.

Breeding Theory was awesome. I had to rewatch this episode, and I realized I never caught the whole "children of time" thing.

I don't keep up on stuff like the directors, but I'm way excited for more stories in the vein of "Blink." I'm also wondering whether River Song from the library episodes will be our next companion.
