ru1. Go to the Elouai doll maker.
2. Make an ordinary doll of yourself and save it.
3. Take that doll and, leaving a couple things (nose, eyebrows, whatever) the same, Mary Sue yourself. Make the most blatant Mary Sue you can conceive.
4. Post "Before" and "After" in your LJ. Bonus points if your Sue has a backstory of some kind.
Rulia Dawnfire Starswirl Actinium Nightrose was born to a good father but a really evil mother who as soon as she saw her newborn daughter was immediately jealous of her, because she knew she was going to be the most beautiful person in all the land. But her father loved her so much that her evil mother had no way to get rid of her, so Rulia grew up to be a beautiful child with raven midnight locks of purest black and eyes that were deeper than the deep blue sea and everything was fine, except for the fact that her mother occasionally beat her with sticks for no good reason, until one day Rulia started sprouting rainbow colored fairy wings and grew little rainbow dots on her cheeks and her mother was all that she must be a devil child because no good child would sprout beautiful wings like this so I shall sell you to the gypsies and she did just that! Rulia was only ten when it happened, and she was very sad, and cried a lot. And the gypsies got mad at her for crying so much and because she had beautiful rainbow wings that reminded them of good things like iridescent bubbles and sunsets. So they beat her. With sticks.
So Rulia Dawnfire Starswirl Actinium Nightrose grew up with the gypsies and she turned into the most beautiful woman in the world, with a heart full of goodness and the desire to do good and purity and everything, and they still beat her with sticks, because she was obviously evil because of her wings, but there was an old gypsy that took pity on her and taught her to play the violin just like the gypsies, and Rulia learned in just two days and could make the most beautiful music you ever heard, the notes dripping off the violin like drops of wine, just like her tears when she was sad. And she was sad, because she missed her father and her two dogs and her cat and her twelve goldfish. When she was sad her blue eyes that were blue like the purest sapphires you had ever seen suddenly became deep grey, like downy kitten fur. When she played the violin, all the butterflies from miles around came and colllected around her, and she couldn't figure out why.
Then one day Rulia was walking through the woods, her raven black hair trailing behind her, and came upon the handsomest man she had ever seen! He was like a combination of Fabio and Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom and every other hot guy you could think of. But he was hurt because he was fighting against a rogue dragon, so she dragged him back to the gypsy camp and tended his wounds, even though it made the gypsies mad that she brought in an outsider. When he awoke, he was immediately taken by how beautiful she was, and fell in love with her instantly, despite having decided he would never love anyone ever again. He said his name was Kenneth of the Warhaven Clan, and said hey Rulia why don't you run away with me and we could go somewhere where you wouldn't be beaten with sticks and Rulia said but this is my home...but okay! So she and Kenneth snuck out in the middle of the night and proceeded to have lots of adventures, frequently involving Rulia having to save him from a horrible monster just before it would deliver the crushing blow, because soon after they left Rulia discovered that she had magical butterfly powers, and that she could summon up butterflies and hailstorms and firestorms and save him and whatever companions they had with them from certain doom! Eventually they discovered a group of people with wings just like Rulia's, and it turns out that she was actually their long lost princess, and that she would become their queen! And Rulia was so happy, but she said to Kenneth Kenneth I don't know if you can stay here or not because you're not like me and the rest of the butterfly people but Kenneth said I love you Rulia and I will do anything to stay with you and Rulia was like I know, how about you marry me and Kenneth was all okay and they had a huge ceremony with cake and butterflies and roses and Rulia and Kenneth lived happily ever after, and no one beat her with sticks ever again.
