Gah, they changed the posting page on me!

Anyway, I'm a very tired Ru. The cofee jolt I had this morning has worn off, and now I've melted like an ooey gooey caramel. It's partially because I got home late last night, having gone to the annual TSO concert. <3 <3 <3 It was delightfully fun, per usual. The music was awesome, "First Snow" made me grin like a goob, and the effects were shiny, although I didn't appreciate it much when they shined the RETINA TORTURING lights into the audience. Ah well, that's what eyelids are for. And THIS time, I embraced my dorkiness and joined in using my cell phone as a makeshift lighter during "O Fortuna". XD

They included something new this year--a keyboard duel between the two keyboardists. I have to admit, I had a moment of "SQUEE!" when they did a couple songs from "A Charlie Brown Christmas". <3 <3

In general, a good time was had by all. I do, however, need to pass out for several hours. I seem to be lapsing into the emotional phase of tired. Anyway.

Best. Alarm clock. Ever.

On a side note, I now have a second job, helping my former systematics prof with lab prep. I think this'll prove to be an interesting experience, and it'll help me a lot with plant ID, as it sounds like I'll occasonally be sent out into the landscape to find stuff for the class. We like this part. <3 <3 <3 The downside, though, is that it's going to send my schedule into a much more erratic pattern, where I don't really know when I'll be needed to go in from one week to the next. We'll see how this works out.
