Sight of the Day

ruSo, I was walking to class today when I noticed some peculiar looking clouds out of the corner of my eye. Looking up, I discovered they weren't exactly clouds per se, but sky writing, thanks to some jet planes that were flying in formation and putting out jets of air in a sort of dot-matrix form of printing, methinks. Now, the fact that there was sky writing was something definitely unique, but what they were saying was even stranger. An exact transcript:
"WE ARE WSI EQUIPED"
Yes, they really did spell 'equipped' wrong for everyone to see. I don't think any of us(and I do mean 'any' of us. Everybody out there was looking up at the sky like aliens were getting ready to land. I think it was kinda funny that everyone was using their cell phones to call their friends about this astounding event.) could figure out what exactly that meant, let alone why it needed to be written across the sky over and over again in a big circling arc.
I tried googling for "WSI equipped" to see what I came up with, but the only things I found were that it referred to some sort of survival kit, and another thing was that it referred to something involving weather detection in cockpits, or something like that. While I suppose the latter might almost make sense, I really don't see how either of these are so INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT that they require sky writing in order to announce it to everyone. Go figure.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
