The weather-types say that this pollen season is the worst we've seen in eight years, with double the normal pollen count. I believe it. It's *everywhere*, and it's getting into everything. In some places it's so thick it looks like blackboard chalk. Stand still outside long enough, and you'll be yellower than Big Bird.

So I'm now curious, is the pollen as bad elsewhere? How has the season of allergies been for you people?

It's been about the same here, pollen-wise. My car is absolutely yellow and the little live oak wormies are covering the driveway so thickly it looks like there's no concrete at all. Thankfully I don't suffer from allergies, but the pollen is making my contacts hellish. :(

I can definitely relate on the eye-irritation bit. The other day I was reading outside since it was so nice out, and discovered that after a while, my eyes were getting *very* burny. When I went inside, it got better, so I'm certain it was the pollen getting to me. Darn you, pines! *shakes fist*
