I'm going to sound stupid (again) but what's a GRE word?

I don't think you're sounding stupid. I'm trying to get myself into studying for the GRE again. The book I'm using has lists of common words found on the GRE, so I figured studying them and trying to expand my vocabulary would be a good place to start. Occasionally, one of the words strikes me in a way (usually in a way that involves RP), so I figured I'd share. ^_^
