Yay! Got through the first large obstacle of the semester--namely dealing with the giant chapter project for drama and my first plant phys exam. Huzzah! Of course, I don't know what sort of grades I got yet, and the next obstacle is looming quickly ahead, but I think I'll enjoy a very brief respite before charging into my second physics lab report.

I'm starting to think that every physics lab will involve for me, in some way or another, being shocking or surprising or otherwise create potential danger. I don't know what it is--if I'm just unlucky like that or if I'm somehow electrially attractive or what. Last time it was me getting shocked by conducting paint. This time? I was getting ready to discharge a conductor, and I'm not sure if it was that I brought the two clamps together too fast or too slow or if it happened to have an unusually large charge or something, but it sparked. Admittedly, it was very minor--just a light snap and a few sparks. Not a whole lot to worry about really, but those of you who know me also know that I am an *extremely* jumpy person. If I'm not expecting something, it will usually end up with me reacting more than the normal person. And seeing as I wasn't expecting this, I ended up yelping and rolling backwards in my rolly chair at the little spark created by the little capacitor. Which of course resulted in my partners looking at me oddly as I recoiled in horror from the evil sparking clamps. Needless to say, after that I was sure to brace for impact each time I discharged a capacitor.

Onnn a completely different subject, today in one of my classes I happened to glance back(I think I was looking to see who was asking the prof a question) and one of my classmates caught my eye. She has red hair, which I knew before, but I happened to notice that today she was wearing a pretty pale blue ribbon around her neck. Of course my first thought was "OMG IT'S ARIA.". Which made me squee and do a silly little happy dance in my head. Then I remembered that while Aria doesn't typically wear her ribbon around her neck, but Tatiana sometimes does. Which made me squee some more. Yay for people who look like RPG characters. Definitely made my day. <3

I appear to be moving backwards. Physics lab was the most recent thing, then the Aria-sighting, and now we come to before I even woke up. Why then? Because I had a dream that I'm still trying to figure out. It was long and lengthy and somehow involved demonic possessions and my father somehow becoming temporarily pregnant(I suspect Freud would have a field day with that one), but the thing that I remember most about it was a small scene. Somehow or another, my mother had a third child--a little baby girl. A very cute little baby girl. So she hands her to me, and after a bit of anxiety of making sure I'm holding her correctly, I ask my mom what the name of my new baby sister is. Her name?

Cupcake.

CUPCAKE.

I still want to go "W...T...F?" at that. In my dream I had a baby sister named after a confection. Me, my brother, and Cupcake. BOY what a family that would be. XD Nevertheless, I'm glad my mother isn't crazy enough to name her children such things. I'm not sure I'd want to go through life as Appletorte.

And on that note, I think I'll go and dive into my lab report. I wonder if sparking capacitors should be involved in the discussion of error.
