Some observations
Feb. 4th, 2005 10:24 am--The more stressed out I am, the more neurotically paranoid I get. For instance, it takes me several minutes to go to sleep because I have to check and recheck again that I made ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that I set my alarm clock, and that it won't treacherously switch times on me or something in the middle of the night. Along the same lines, it takes me several minutes to get out of here in the morning because not only to have to make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that my foot locker is locked and that my laptop is safely inside so that the lock won't treacherously unlock allowing some passerby to get it. The same with the door. Must be certain it's locked so that the locker and the door don't team up and magically unlock themselves. Hence why I spend several moments checking and rechecking to make sure.
I never said I was sane.
--The clouds looked like snow clouds last night. Looks like we got tons of diddly and squat in terms of actual snow though. I want snow.
--Some light cream cheeses have a weird light cream cheese taste. Like garden vegetable. It just doesn't taste right. Onion and chive light cream cheese doesn't seem to have this problem though. I think it's because the onions mask whatever sort of weird light cream cheese taste there is. Which I like.
--It's Friday! <3 <3 <3
--For some reason I keep getting stuck in leadership roles. My drama prof gave me the role of director for our scene project. I'm not sure I like this trend. I don't really consider myself a leader. I don't really like the idea of being a leader either. I think I'm more of a follower. Not to mention I've tried my hand at directing once before. Didn't like it. I'd rather be acting. And considering that this looks like the really big acting type thing we'll be doing in this class, I won't be doing anything significant in the acting category this semester. Foo.
--Chcocolate can do wonders.
--It's time for me to go to class. So I'm off to fight with the locks and make absolutely sure they're not out to get me. I swear that padlock has been eyeing me oddly lately. :p
