ruExcuse me while I rant a moment.
AIMexpress has gotten stupid. STUPID. It's now so stupid I can't even italicize 'stupid' in it. From what I can tell, the people in charge of it got their panties in a bind over gmail and its talk function, and felt that the only way to compete is to make something similar. So now if you want to use it, because you're like me and you're at school and want to talk to people because you spend long hours between classes and want to not feel so lonesome, you have to sign into their email program and access it that way, like you would in gmail. I find this highly irritating. For one thing, I have zero interest in their email program. For another, the only way to have it up is to have the email up, which, again, I don't need. For a third reason, it's STUPID. I have a hard time understanding why they'd make a program that can't let you do simple font alterations, like the aforementioned italicizing.
So in closing, it's cloogish and stupid. I've been trying to access the older program, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Bloody stupid thing *mumblemumble*.
