Nov. 6th, 2008 10:47 pmOh gooooooods gods gods gods gods.
The application is due TOMORROW. I think it's mostly ready, but technicalities are driving me up the wall.
The application is dinging a warning message that my education listed and the fact that I claim I haven't completed more than a year's worth of grad study aren't jiving, and I can't figure out WHY. I've tried everything--deleting my grad school listing under education, taking out the grad class I took as an undergrad, everything. The system seems to somehow think that I've taken more than a year's worth of grad study (I have to have been a grad student for a year or less to be eligible for the fellowship), which is hard to believe, seeing as I started in January. And if I switch my claim to say that I've been in grad school for more than a year, it's all fine, and cheerfully lets me know I need to submit the essay required for people who are trying despite being over the year limit. The warning message won't keep me from submitting, but it's still very worrisome. I just hope they look at my transcript and SEE that this is only my second semester and understand what's going on, because I can't seem to make the system understand.
The system is saying it still hasn't gotten my transcripts either. They were supposed to be there by noon today. I hope they got there, because otherwise, I'm screwed. I'll find out tomorrow morning after the system updates.
I don't know how the hell I'm going to sleep tonight. If this thing dies because of a technicality, I am going to cry.

Date: 2008-11-07 04:52 am (UTC)I know that my school, at least, only requires that transcripts be sent by a certain date, so I'd hope that your school would understand if it's late due to a postal issue.
I'm sure it'll all be fine. <3
