ANIKA. Spill!

Barring Anika/Karin, which is the most likely to happen, other pairings considered, mostly of the crack!pairings variety! Hmmm...

Anika/Chloe is one. The tension between them would be ASTRONOMICAL. They're both forceful. They're set in their ways. And I think they have a certain degree of disdain for the other (Actually, I dunno about Chloe, but Anika finds Chloe INFURIATING). I could totally see them trying to tame one another. And it would be interesting to see if they did manage to find some sort of harmony between them!

On a similar note, Anika/Warren. XD Again, lots of tension, considering the disdain I imagine they would have for one another. Although I think Anika would tolerate Warren more than she would Chloe. Warren's an outdoorsy kinda guy, which wins him points with Anika, although the fact that he's a prince takes those right back again.

And finally, Anika/Moira. XD I think of all the guardians Anika could possibly hook up with, Moira's the most likely. They have a history, so to speak, and Anika easily finds her the most tolerable. They both understand the pain of losing a loved one, so I think their relationship could be doubly sweet because of that. On a side note, I love having them interact. They're like a really warped odd couple. <3

And finally, for the ultimate crack pairing, Anika/human Stribog. SO SO WRONG. Especially considering the number of bad jokes that could use the term 'riding'. And yet, if the stars were right, I could see it working. XD

LOL I am reading a mutual Taming of the Shrew scenario out of Anika/Chloe now. This is particularly funny since I just got finished studying that play, and now I definitely see them both as Katherines. Bahahaha.

Although Anika is totally taken, I bear a secret Anika/Moira torch. XD They are so much FUN together. I really need to finish that story I started...

I TOTALLY THINK THAT SHOULD HAPPEN. I would love a story where, maybe, Warren and Stribog swap roles, so suddenly Boggie is the guardian, and Warren is an owl statue that turns into a PISSED OFF OWL. WITH AN ANGERPIPE.

I secretly love Anika/Moira too. <3 <3 <3 They are full of grumpy adorable. And yes, you totally should finish the story! I wanna see! <3 <3 <3

Hmmm, you know, for all the lady-ing Rasa does, the number of relationships I've actually considered him in are woefully few. XD I will need to think more about specifics, especially in BC, as I haven't thought much about who Leo would go with. But, I do have some things to babble about!

I like to think that in HW, amongst the girls Rasa has relationships with, Rasa has a notch on his bedpost that belongs to Shateiel, and vice versa. XD They could probably have flirting competitions.

I have considered Rasa/Anahita in Dis, and I think it has the potential to work. The thought, however, never crosses Rasa's mind. Not only does he see Ana more as something of a niece (being the daughter of his former partner and all, that generation gap is a little more prominent than it would be with others), but Rasa has this thing about people he feels he's guarding, that he really can't let himself get involved with them. That's how he managed to protect Sachiel for so long when they were out in the wilderness with only each other, and not jeopardize her ability to do her job. XD That does not stop him, however, from being affectionate, and being a little too overprotective at times, doing things like punching Malik when he makes her cry. XD Rasa needs to find himself a nice girl so he stops going all mother hen on Ana. XDD

I considered Rasa/Regaliel for a while in Canaan. She's about the only person in Canaan who was from the old Watchtower days, and so can relate to Rasa. I think their relationship could be interesting, when she's not busy running the city. Rasa's pretty easygoing usually, and so could be something of a relief, and he would be attentive to her.

Still in Canaan, I had kicked around the idea of him and Liah in my head. If he was able to coax her out of exile, he might be able to introduce her back to the land of the living. He has some vague idea of the anxiety she feels about being around people, and I think he could be a support. And since he's so good at controlling his inner urges, she wouldn't have to worry about him pushing her any further than she's ready for.

Rasa/Sachiel has come to mind. They're very close, and he thinks she's as sweet as she can be, but the guardian and the purifier thing get in the way of that quite a bit. With those out of the way, though, I could see it happening. <3

Hmmm, there are a few! <3

I think Shemiel/Oriston is great fun. They're both loud personalities that I think complement each other well. They can go out and have wild shopping trips on the streets of London! They both like fun and the having of it, and their dramatic personalities mean that they must go on a fair number of dates that are utterly FABULOUS.

I also adore Shemiel/Ishmael. <3 Lorelei and Tyler are a cute pair, and while she and Christian get on because of their similarities, I think Tyler and Lorelei get on for the exact opposite reason. Lorelei needs someone calm in her life, someone that she can stop being "LORELEI THE GREAT OPERA SOPRANO" with and just be Lolly. Someone she can spend lazy Sundays with. And he's hot. <3

I've been kicking around the possibility of who Dis Shemiel could end up with, if she got an attitude adjustment. XD Maybe having someone to care about would help her work through her issues. Not sure who would be good, though. *dies* Although I think the idea of Rahab/Shemiel crossed my mind at some point. Dunno if it would work or not, but they do both know a thing or two about pride. XD

*dies giggling* Rahab/Shemiel? Fascinating, really, and far more possible in Dis than anywhere else. Since Dis is the one place where Rahab actually finally bloody DIES and comes back. Psst, he's a hot teenager who can't quite help acting exactly as if he were 40 years old with scores of battles under his belt. Plus he comes back without any kind of baggage.

Lessee, well, I'm of course quite attached to Ruchiel/Misha. <3 They're a lovely, affectionate balance to each other, and Aria's totally devoted to him. <3 They start out awkward, but over time that evolves.

But moving outside of canon, I think I'd have to say that Ruchiel/Asiel is probably my favoritest non-canon pairing. On the surface, they're TOTAL opposites, but if you dig down deeper, they have a lot of similarities, and they can draw on each other's strengths, I think. Both of them are incredibly adorable, and once Ruchiel relaxes around him, then they can really get close, teasing each other and the like. <3

For a while I considered Ruchiel/Zaafiel, or just Ruchiel/mentor in general, but in the end I realized that wouldn't work very well. Ruchiel has a very close relationship with her mentor, trusts him in ways she doesn't trust most people, but at the same time, I don't think it could evolve beyond that.

And on a different note, Ruchiel/Repha'im. XD In certain settings, I could totally see it working. Like in Canaan, for example. While Ruchiel isn't all "GRR ARG I WILL KNOCK THIS TREE DOWN WITH MY BARE TEETH", she's a lot stronger and tougher than she was before, and could hold her own against Repha, so to speak. At the same time, she wouldn't be afraid to be sweet and kind to him, pretty darn patient, and I think they could get a lot out of each other. <3

I still absolutely love Minnie with both Bee and Liah. They're very different relationships, but they're still both wonderfully sweet and adorable. He's gallant and protective, but still sweats profusely if a beach trip is suggested. XD Ed and Bee are like a really cute, affectionate pair of BFFs that happen to also have a kid. His relationship with Liah is more romantic in the traditional sense. There's a lot of love in both. <3

I did consider Peter/Edmund for a while (not Narnia Edmund and Peter, in case anyone is following along and has just gotten very confused), and I think they do still date for a little while as teenagers, when Ed is still going "AAAAGH GIRLS". I think they would be hilariously sweet and awkward (and Ed would be comfortable, as it'd probably be about a month or so before they got around to holding hands), especially if they have dinner one night with the Sidorovs. Look, Peter! It's your old not-girlfriend! XDDD

WELL. Two potential pairings immediately spring to mind. Whether or not they become canon remains to be seen. XD

One is Sparrow/Odile. For starters, they have a lovely dichotomy going on, exemplified in their personalities. I think Sparrow feels a sort of protectiveness towards Odile, and does little things like make her rememberalls and probably steering her away from Zaak when he gets a little too friendly. She gets irritated at Odile at times, going all "STARS how could you forget THAT???", but in general I think she's gentle with her. I could see Sparrow developing genuine affection for her. On a side note, Sushi and I discussed that if Odile gets lost on her way to her room late at night, Sparrow would let her sleep in her bed with her, which is both adorable and has a lot of potential for hilarity. I'm sure it bursts the bubbles of the Das boys when Sparrow comes out of her room with a sleepy Odile after her, going "*streeetch* BOY I had a great night's sleep last night. <3". Or. Well. It bursts Zaak's bubble, at least. XD

The other pairing I've entertained is Sparrow/Willey. I think they could learn a lot from each other. It'd be especially interesting to see how Willey reacts to the fact that this drop dead gorgeous woman turns into a frog creature on a regular basis. And there would be some great initial tension on their views of machinery and progress in general. I think it would be interesting to see!
