*&%&^%! It's only the first day and physics is already giving me a hard time. Stupid bloody percentage errors...I followed the instructions *exactly*, and yet I still get a percentage higher than 100%. And of course it never likes it. It never does. Though you'd think that you'd get a huge percentage error when there's bloody huge numbers involved. Sigh. It's only the first assignment and I'm already having issues. Though this one was just the review, so minimal thrashing was involved. There was thrashing though, no doubt about that.
And I'm not sure I like this homework system. Basically instead of using the main online homework system that everyone else uses, my prof has opted to use her own. Which is all fine and good. I mean hey, I like being able to submit as many times as I want. I just wish it didn't time out on me constantly. With the main system you can have it running for hours at a time and just work at your own pace. With this, if you go over the time, blip! It throws you off and you have to go in and reenter your answers. Not the end of the world, since I've had the foresight to write my answers down on paper first, but still very aggravating.
But, all except for the last percentage error problem and the honors problems(like HELL I'm going to do physics as an honors student), I've managed to get everything right. Go me. I think I'll stop for tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll thrash with that last one a bit more. Or alternatively I can go and get help with it during the extra help session. Either way. I'm not letting that problem slip without a fight.
I wonder what it is about hearing grandfather clock chimes that makes me so relaxed and sleepy...
