Jun. 27th, 2005 10:52 pmI ART DONE. <3 <3 <3 <3
Yes, so, we did our final project tonight. On a personal level at least, I think it went pretty well. At first, I was a nervous WRECK about how I was gonna do, and I was a little concerned about the number of people we were going to have, seeing as at 6:55 there were only about ten people in the audience. I was afraid we'd be performing to a scant number of people, which would be disappointing. But, people started trickling in, and by the end of the performance we actually had a pretty decent crowd. The way we had things arranged in terms of where we were supposed to be and how things were gonna flow kinda threw me for a loop, since I wasn't expecting to be in the audience whilst waiting for my parts. Well, admittedly we were in the very back, and that was kinda 'our' spot, but still, we were there.
But in any case, when you get right down to it, it was nice to be acting again. The waiting part was horrible tho, since I was fretting my head off worrying about how I was gonna do on my parts, and whether or not I had improved on the parts, and I was worried about how things were going to go, but once I got out there, I think I relaxed and just concentrated on doing what I was there to do. I still don't think I did very well on my monologue, but I think the dialogue scene I was in worked awesomely. People seemed to really enjoy it, and it was just fun to do. It's not every day you get to play a mom giving her daughter her inheritance, including things like her eating disorder and her insomnia. ^_^ Everything seemed to work out in the end, and I'm really glad about that. Apparently after the performance several of my classmates decided to go to the local bar to celebrate. Part of me kinda wanted to go, if nothing else, to watch everyone be crazy, since I'm not quite legal yet. Somehow I think it'd be fun to do that. But on the other hand, I'm perfectly happy to have come home and to get down to vacationing. <3 <3
It's nice to be on vacation now. One of the awesomest feelings is thinking you have something you need to be doing, and then realizing there isn't anything you *have* to be doing. I think I will work on ficlets now! <3 <3 <3 <3
