Pavement Circles!

Like crop circles, only not.

While taking my walk today, I noticed that there were a pair of circles on the asphalt arranged like someone was getting ready to do a *really* big Venn diagram. It looked like they were spread on with muddy water, or something similar that would make the asphalt look lighter, with little bits of splatterings on the outside.

The rational part of me is pretty sure that the circles came from some sort of street cleaner or something similar(though why they would be cleaning our streets, I'm not quite sure. The area I live in doesn't really look like the type to have access to street cleaners). However, the silly, wackier part of me immediately went "OMG! Pavement circles! The aliens are sending a sign it's a conspiracy OMG!"

Although what exactly the message would be that aliens would be trying to send by making a muddy water Venn diagram, I don't know. XD

In other news, I discovered that apparently Spike TV shows ST:TNG reruns in the afternoon. Yay! I can get Star Trek goodness for a while! <3 <3

OMG!! That is an awesome idea! You just know that Muriel and Tino and all the other conspiracy theorists, and probably the local UFO club too, would all be out there trying to figure out what the pavement circles mean. And I bet at the end that the cause of the pavement circles was some guy who decided to have some fun with everyone, but he got the symbols out of an arcane book, and he ends up accidentially summoning a monster that EATS him! Or something similar.

Oh man. We have *got* to do this. XD

And I just realized what Eve would be doing while everyone's oogling the pavement circles--she'd be copying down the symbols that she finds particularly interesting, and then jazzing them up a bit. Maybe by giving them Mickey Mouse ears or giving one a broom and a bow, or something, and then making doodlings where Mrs. Arcane Symbol and Mr. Arcane Symbol live in a house with a white picket fence and have Baby Arcane Symbol that's always having adventures and getting into mischeif like stealing figure eight cookies from the cookie jar on the top of the fridge! XD

i don't know which is geekier...the fact that you thot of the circles as being similar to crop circles, or that you compared them to a venn diagram!! WAHAHAHAA....oh, girl, you is so funnay!!

Aww, thanks. <3 <3 <3 Although, much to my chargrin, when I took my walk the other day and got a better look at the pavement circles, I realized that they were more of a figure eight than a Venn diagram. But still. XD

I'm gonna try dragging my camera with me on my next walk so I can get a picture of them. Hopefully they're still there. ^_^;
