It appears my local fantasy/Medieval store of awesomeness is going under. Well, not completely under, as they're going to continue to sell online, but they're no longer going to have a store front. This makes me massively sadface. They're quite simply one of my favoritest stores ever. I remember when I first learned of them, via a flyer with one of the local used book stores. It was closed when I went to go see what this awesome new store was all about, but I remember pressing my nose up against the glass and going "Woooooooooooooooooooow..."

Ever since then, going there has been a mood elevator for me. When I had a sucky week, I'd go over on Friday and revel in things like the Tardis dressing room and wonderfully geeky pins and the Harry Potter corner and the gorgeous costumes one of the owners made, and felt instantly better. I've tried to patronize them as much as possible, and did a ton of gift shopping there, because I was terrified they'd go under and I'd no longer have my fantasy/Medieval store of awesomeness. Now it appears it's happened.

DAMN YOU, ECONOMY. *cries bitter tears*
