After an entire season of basically no produce, suddenly I have FOUR tomatoes growing and a couple of peppers (it would have been more, if a squirrel hadn't decided to use the pepper plant for a landing pad. *mumbledamnhooliganssnappeditinhalffriggidyfrigginmumble*). HOLY FRIG. I dunno how that happened. I'm a little concerned that they're suddenly so productive so close to the end of the season, since I'm worried a frost will kill it all before it can be harvested, BUT. The fact that they're producing *something* makes me happy. <3

tomatoes and peppers are really late for us this year, too...yes we're farther north than you, but i live in the little niche that is niagara...surrounded by lake ontario to the north and lake erie to the south, it's gosh darn warm her in the summer....last year it got up to 48F with the humidex!! even the carribbean workers that come up for the growing season tell us that the weather is really hot.
anyways, YAY NON-SWEET FRUITS THAT ARE GROWING ON YOUR VINES!!
