Nov. 16th, 2007 02:15 pmSo, owing to the fact that my old glasses were, you know, disintegrating, I have gotten a brand spankin' new pair, with new lenses and all. This is both a good thing and a bad thing.
Good thing: I can take off my glasses without getting my hair caught on duct tape.
Bad thing: They're riding too low, and I can't get back to the optometrist to get them adjusted until Thursday.
Good thing: The new lenses are not only sharper, but wonderfully clear. And I got a spiffy lens cleaning cloth to make sure they stay sparkly.
Bad thing: My eyes haven't gotten adjusted to them yet, and as a result, the world is TRIPPY. I can't see straight, and every time I move my head, the world spins. This is giving me a bit of a headache. Damnit eyes, get with the program and start seeing straight! I'm starting to feel like I should be saying "Dude, everything is so groovy." every five seconds!
