While picking up food yesterday, Mum and I saw an honest to goodness DeLorean in the parking lot. Cue me having a little squee moment over seeing one, considering my love for the "Back to the Future" movies. I didn't believe it was one at first because, well, how often do they show up in grocery store parking lots? Sadly, I didn't see a crazy white-haired old guy or a guy wearing a life preserver running out of the Food Lion with Oreos and Coca-Cola before driving off to the 17th century.

What really amazed me was how SMALL they are. Seriously. Mum's Civic is large compared to it. I guess they look much larger on a movie/TV screen. XD I would've loved to have seen it in motion, or at least seen the doors open. XD

i agree, a delorean is a sight to see. i saw one once...my ex's friend bought one off some old lady who bearly drove it. it has something like less than 12000km on it (yes, i am canadian and therefore using metric ^^;; ). it was so cool. he got it for cheap and everything was original, down to the tires (which had acquired flat spots due to just sitting around for 20 years). under some of the door panels were signatures that the guy believed to be from the people who built the thing.
OH so cool, tho...i mean, really....
